According to the ENERGY STAR® Federal Tax Credit web page, homeowners are encouraged to print and retain a copy of the Manufacturer’s Certification for boiler purchases for their records. Below is a printable Manufacturer's Certification from Peerless Boilers, certifying the efficiency of the boiler models eligible for the Federal Tax Credit (listed above). New IRS Announcement:

Arlington, Va. (February 3, 2010) -- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) recently issued Form 5695, Residential Energy Credits, which is the form for taxpayers to use when claiming tax credits under Section 25(c) of the Internal Revenue Code.
